Pasta e Basta is a cozy Italian restaurant in Midtown that you already know we love. This time we stopped by to try their new brunch menu and we’re what you need to know 👇🍝 Their menu currently offers a variety of paninis and pasta trios, perfect for sharing and for those who always want a little bit of everything 👀 We kicked off our meal with the Panino Polpette e Mozzarella, but the Trio Romano stole the show. For $69 you get this pasta tower that includes Rigatoni Carbonara, Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe and Rigatoni Amatriciana. And the best part? You can now customize your own trio for $79. For dessert we had the Nutella crepes and the tiramisu which is always🔥 PS: If you’re brave enough to dine with a toddler they’ve got a kids menu too and a whole lot of patience ❤️

Kennedy is a charming waterfront park with walking/cycling trails, a dog park, outdoor fitness equipment, volleyball courts and the Instagrammable “Miami”-etched benches that face Biscayne Bay. After a scenic workout or some leisurely dog- and people-watching, cool down with a frozen lemonade from the A.C.’s Icees truck, which has had a permanent spot in the parking lot for more than four decades.

If you are looking for a secluded island in Miami to spend the day and disconnect, then here is one of my favorite spots! The Picnic Islands are a small group of islands within the city of Miami. They are located just north of Biscayne Island in Biscayne Bay, just east offshore from the Edgewater and Upper Eastside districts of the city. The islands are uninhabited, but several of the group have beaches where boaters and picnickers frequent. They are generally named for the mainland city parks that they are located next to in the bay. The southernmost one is Pace Picnic Island, located off Pace Park. There are also Morningside Picnic Islands Park and Legion Picnic Islands Park located directly off of Morningside Bayfront Park and Legion Park, respectively.

Knaus Berry Farm has earned quite a reputation for its sweet cinnamon buns, so much so that fans usually line up for hours to get their hands on some. And yes, waiting in that line is an essential thing to do. Cinnamon rolls aren’t the farm’s only draw — they also serve delicious milkshakes and you can also pick your own strawberries to take home. And keep in mind that they only take cash!

The Berry Farm Miami This family-owned and operated farm in Miami’s agricultural heartland features 30 acres of all-ages fun, from strawberry picking and sunflower fields to hay rides, a “bubble” trampoline, zipline playground and corn pit. The farm hosts festivals throughout the year, including the Harvest Festival, Winter Festival, Strawberry Festival and Flower Festival. On weekends, visitors can immerse themselves in live music and savor award-winning BBQ and delicious eats from the taco barn. Why kids love it: A huge, open field and plenty of outdoor activities—not to mention a milkshake and ice cream stand—make this a day well spent in the Redlands. Why parents love it: Connecting with nature and ample activities guarantee your tike will be entertained (and exhausted) by an outing here.

Spanning over 10,000-square-feet, the Astra Roof Garden in Wynwood is spacious and impressive, and just about as close to the Greek Islands as you can get in Miami. Equipped with both dining tables and more comfy lounge sofas, here you are surrounded with lush Mediterranean plants and some fantastic and unobstructed views over the Miami skyline. Open nightly for Greek and Mediterranean inspired F&B and a vibrant atmosphere, during Sunday's the vibes start early with a bottomless Miami rooftop brunch. Expect a mix of Oysters, Fried Calamari, Eggs Benedict, Mojito Pitchers and live DJs/entertainment. And try to stick around until sunset, as it is something special from the Astra rooftop.

And while the hotel's rooftop pool is not as high, it still offers an impressive setting.
