Come for the aesthetic, stay for the dessert☕️ Walking into Sadelle’s Highland Park feels like you’ve stepped into a sea of Tiffany Blue💍 Everything is beautiful! You can tell so much time & effort was put into every single detail ~ the florals, lamps, wallpaper, mosaic tile, beautiful plates, and the long leather menus✨ When it comes to the food, I wanted to wait and only post when I had found my absolute favorites! After many lunch visits, I can confidently say there is one thing you MUST order ~ their sticky bun (warmed up) & a latte for dessert! I will continue to come weekly just for this combo. Windhaven Meadows Park is a 123-acre, passive recreational park complete with walking trails, ponds, and natural open spaces. Additional features include: 330 parking spaces, restrooms, 1.9 miles of concrete trails, 4,800-square-foot reservable pavilion, splash pad water feature (open the first Saturday in April and closes after the third weekend in October), Liberty Playground featuring more than 20,000 sq. ft. of accessible play equipment, and a 4.6-acre dog park.

JUBILEE CAFE 🐻 🍒 WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: their bear themed iced drinks! Also, a ton of dessert options. 🍒 THE VIBE: cute little cafe, not really for studying, it’s more for sitting down and enjoying a meal with a friend or two. 🍒 PRICE: ~$120 (lots of food!) (gifted 🤍) 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! •••• Overall Rating: 9.5/10 - After seeing post about this super cute bear-themed cafe, I was so excited to come here! - Must try dishes are the calamari salad, wild mushroom risotto (best selling item), and the ingeolimi shaved ice! - The calamari salad had so much flavor and I loved the snap of the boiled calamari. The salad had a zesty dressing and the calamari was just seasoned very well. - The risotto had a strong truffle taste so if you like that it was so good and hearty to have in the rainy weather! - The shaved ice was actually my greatest surprise! It had mochi squares and red beans that were perfectly sweet with the shaved ice. - Of course you have to try their bear ice drinks! The coffee is on the stronger side with no sugar so just indicate if you want a flavored/sweet latte. I loved it though because the coffee flavor was great. The colorful drinks were so fun too! - A cute place with hearty and variety of food. Definitely check it out.

HOUNDSTOOTH COFFEE || DALLAS 🍒 WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: easy grab and go coffee place with another room attached to the other side for studying and WFH. Also, there’s a fairly large outdoor seating area with a great view I didn’t get to take a picture of bc ppl were sitting there. 🍒 THE VIBE: small and intimate, nature vibes 🍒 PRICE: $13 (kinda pricey I think bc location!) 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. •••• Overall Rating: 8/10 - A solid place to grab a quick cup of joe! The cappuccino I had was at the perfect temperature and had the perfect amount of sweetness. I have no bad things to say about the coffee it was perfect sweetness and perfectly brewed. - Definitely would consider this Houndstooth a grab and go situation. There’s a great outdoor seating area to sit and chat in nice weather. There is a small space to work from home/study but it closes an hour before the actual closing time just FYI. - The only complaint I had was that was the worst cookie I’ve ever had 😂 I love mint chocolate anything but omg it was so hard and not chocolate-y at all. I tried to dip it in the coffee to soften it up but the flavor was just not giving. Also, I was annoyed because I didn’t realize it was a $4 cookie until I already paid?! Like how are yall gonna charge $4 for a wack cookie 😭

Welcome to the neighborhood, D.L. Mack’s🍸 This cozy Chicago-style tavern does not disappoint👏🏼 Everything was delicious, but the cracker crust honey truffle chicken pizza really did it for me. They also use Banana Hazelnut Infused Cold Brew in their Espresso Martinis and o.m.g. IT’S SO GOOD. Trick-or-Treat Extravganza Join us if you dare for a Halloween scare on Thursday, October 31 from 5:00-9:00pm at our Trick or Treat Extravaganza, Presented by InTouch Credit Union! This family friendly event will take guests throughout the center for all kinds of tricks, treats, and even some surprises along the way. The event will include: Trick-or-treating stops throughout Grandscape Character meet and greets Live DJ Plus, “I Put a Spell on You” stage performances from your three favorite witches! Don’t miss out on all the fun as we enjoy a BOO-tiful Halloween night. We’ll see you there! ✨🦋 Brand new, 6 acre, $40 million dollar butterfly themed art park called Kaleidoscope Park! The park will is completely free with public programming year round like farmers markets, concerts and films. There is also a massive children’s play area, a dog park, performance lawn and shaded promenades and plazas. The star of the show though is this 3,400 pound art pieces that changes colors all day and into the night, called ‘Butterfly Rest Stop’ created by Janet Echelman. It’s made up of 791,788 knots tied by hand. It’s very stunning during the day and incredibly romantic at night. ⏰ HOURS // Open daily from 6am - 11pm

MIGHTY CHICK || PLANO 🐥 🍒 WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: another great Korean pocha to take your friends to eat the best Korean junk food and drink cheap drinks! 🍒 THE VIBE: party, street, writing everywhere, disco balls. It’s a classic Korean Pocha! 🍒 PRICE: ~$45 + tip 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. Overall Rating: 8/10 - A Korean Pocha is a place that serves Korean street food and is optimal for casual social gatherings and sharing drinks. If you’ve been to one before, you already know the vibes are immaculate ✨ - I only really docked off points because they forgot our rice cakes in the stew so it kind of made it more plain and it was just something I could’ve made at home… it was good though! - The chicken wings were actually so delicious and crunchy. Highly recommend trying the flavors we got. - The dumplings were actually so good and I dipped them in the stew sauce and wow it was excellent. - Overall, a solid spot for good food, vibes, and tons of selection in drinks and food. Servers were very attentive too.

This year is the first time downtown Denton will be transformed into a real-life Halloween town. Admire the spooky decorations or go to one of the many haunted events for people of all ages to enjoy. Take part in the Haunted Hotline scavenger hunt, in which participants will explore Denton to uncover the evil witch’s spell book and end her reign, or explore the many “boo-tique” markets. Other activities include Halloween movie nights, a Halloween roller derby on Oct. 26, and the Boos and Booze Bar Crawl on Oct. 12. A family-focused Day of the Dead Festival, with pine-box races and the Twilight Lantern Parade, takes place Oct. 25-27.
