Discover the Charm of Joe Allen: A New York Theater Gem!
Avatar Infatuation

Infatuation

Joe Allen It's definitely a staple and an iconic place. I love it half for the musical flop posters that are everywhere, because I always see one that I haven't seen before. It always starts conversations with people who happened to see the two-week runs of random shows that are on the walls and just feel super storied. It's become more theater fans than theater people over the years, but it's real theater fans. It tends to be people who are frequenting [shows]; it feels authentic. And the food, it's really yummy. I think it's a really good pre and post-show place, particularly family-wise. It's a really good, storied, New York, capital N, capital Y kind of spot.

I was worried when I came here I would need a sense of fashion. Ladies, I’m not worried anymore. I mean I’ll sit on my toilet and snap photos and look classier 🎩 some of the guys too /s

Celebrating My Birthday with a Delightful Dinner at Momokawa!
Avatar Foodie_NYC

Foodie_NYC

For my birthday dinner, I chose to go to Momokawa, my favorite Japanese restaurant in the city. While somewhat hidden from the city’s sushi limelight, Momokawa provides a top-notch, holistic Japanese culinary experience. Led by its owner, Chef Mie Okuda, a Japanese holistic nutritionist, the restaurant follows her philosophy as stated on its website: “A great meal is not one that just fills you up. A great meal is a journey that returns you to sources of pleasure you may have forgotten, taking you to places you haven’t been before.” — Mie Okuda, Chef/Owner I had the sushi Omakase dinner and couldn’t be happier. The welcoming, warm hospitality, the great vibe, and the amazing food left me more than satisfied. Thanks, Chef Okuda. 💖🙏🏼💖

A Cozy Monday Treat: Discovering Lavender Lattes at Remi Flower & Coffee!

Sending you a whole Latte Love this Monday! 🍽Where I went: Remi Flower & Coffee ✔️What I got: Lavender Latte 💰What I paid: $5.50 ⠀ 🤔What I think: A couple months ago I went to Remi Flower & Coffee. I’m not someone who usually likes flavors added to my coffee but I really wanted to try either the lavender or the rose latte at Remi because it is their specialty. I ended up getting the lavender latte and was pleasantly surprised to find that the flavor of the lavender did not overpower the taste of the coffee itself. If you’re looking for a cute/aesthetic place to grab some coffee, I would definitely recommend checking this place out :)

Have you ever walked through the Midtown Manhattan Waterfall? Tucked into a small pocket park between buildings, you’ll find this gorgeous waterfall pathway. The water feature is 20 feet tall and 40 feet wide, and is partially housed in plexiglass. The 17 foot-long glass tunnel runs beneath the waterfall, creating a water covered tubular path. The sound from the water is soothing, and walking through the tube is exciting, especially for kids. (Bonus: the tube makes it easy to walk between 48th and 49th streets quickly!).
