This year is the first time downtown Denton will be transformed into a real-life Halloween town. Admire the spooky decorations or go to one of the many haunted events for people of all ages to enjoy. Take part in the Haunted Hotline scavenger hunt, in which participants will explore Denton to uncover the evil witch’s spell book and end her reign, or explore the many “boo-tique” markets. Other activities include Halloween movie nights, a Halloween roller derby on Oct. 26, and the Boos and Booze Bar Crawl on Oct. 12. A family-focused Day of the Dead Festival, with pine-box races and the Twilight Lantern Parade, takes place Oct. 25-27.

Summer Movie Series at Omni PGA Frisco Gather your friends and family and cozy up on a blanket to watch your favorite flicks on the 900+ sq. ft. video wall. The movie will start at 8 p.m., weather permitting. PGA District restaurants will be open, serving your favorite foods, and concession snacks will be available to purchase from roaming beverage carts. Joya is an inclusive, glow-in-the-dark playground that comes alive at night! It allows for day and evening play as special lights illuminate each night at sunset. The standout play structure is the 27ft Lit Sphere! It has 6 levels of large hammocks with multiple slides and climbing structures. We love that there are separate play areas for big kids and toddlers! Other play equipment includes swings, an obstacle course, zip line, spin zone, and glow seating.
