Celebrate Echo Park‘s Lotus Festival! Join in on the festivities being held at Echo Park Lake’s annual Lotus Festival — where you can enjoy a vibrant celebration of Asian-American culture in Los Angeles. The event itself is free, but of course you might spend some money at the local vendors and artisans. Nothing wrong with supporting local businesses! Indulge in delicious food, listen to lively music, witness dragon boat races, and even lantern launches. With luck, you might also witness the beautiful lotus flower beds in full bloom, adding to the festival’s charm. (Of course, this depends on mother nature.)
