Being on this work trip has started to feel more draining than exciting, especially with the dull weather making everything seem a bit heavier and harder to enjoy. I’m getting bored of the same routine each day—going from meetings to my room and back again—without much to break up the monotony. I’m tired of staring out at gray skies and wishing the sun would show up for even a moment. More than anything, I’m craving some fun and new faces to make the time pass a little faster. I want to meet people who are also looking for a break from their schedules, someone to laugh with, explore a bit, or just share a relaxed conversation. Even though this trip hasn’t been the most exciting so far, I’m hoping a spark of connection can still turn it around.
