✨🦋 Brand new, 6 acre, $40 million dollar butterfly themed art park called Kaleidoscope Park! The park will is completely free with public programming year round like farmers markets, concerts and films. There is also a massive children’s play area, a dog park, performance lawn and shaded promenades and plazas. The star of the show though is this 3,400 pound art pieces that changes colors all day and into the night, called ‘Butterfly Rest Stop’ created by Janet Echelman. It’s made up of 791,788 knots tied by hand. It’s very stunning during the day and incredibly romantic at night. ⏰ HOURS // Open daily from 6am - 11pm

When we walked in our jaws literally dropped, I’m not being dramatic, that actually happened. It’s called Juicy Dumplings and everything inside was themed to make you feel like you’re dining underwater. They were playing music video sing-a-longs the whole time we were there and it was the most fun experience. The soup dumplings and chili wontons were good too! Are they the best in town, no I wouldn’t say that but they were very tasty, we’d order them again!

We were shopping recently (the home goods burbs are elite, just a little pro tip) and we saw an unassuming dumpling restaurant and headed inside. The new food truck is tucked away in South Dallas and y’all the views of downtown are gorgeous! They have an adorable patio with string lights so it’s the perfect spot to grab some late-night bites! 🤩 Taqueria La Fogata has a small menu but the flavors are BIG!
