Do Not Sit On The Furniture! Designed more for dancing than sitting (hence the name), itâs packed tight and kept very dark, except for those moments when the gorgeous light fixture flashes and illuminates everything around you. Helmed by internationally renowned DJ-producer Behrouz and his partner Megan, Do Not Sit has earned a reputation for offering top-tier guest acts and underground sensibilities in a less pretentious setting and with a more accessible cover.

Hyde Beach Hollywood style found its way to South Beach in June 2012 when the SLS Hotel opened at the corner of Collins and 17th, and brought the ultra-exclusive Hyde nightclub with it. The daytime pool party is always a riot. Weâre talking CO2 cannons, go-go dancers, fist-pumping out-of-towners and cocktails the size of football players. From Thursday to Sunday, the action continues well past sunset, when scenesters hunker down within the whimsical, Philippe Starck-designed club for A-list acts like Guy Gerber, Claptone and Kaskade.

Man why is Miami such an unprofessional city?! Legit sitting in a hospital room at Kendall Regional Hospital after a health scare listening to the nurses and cleaning crew talking about which coworker is cheating on who and whose fucking who and it got me thinking, Iâve worked in Hospitals up north before, we can be a funky bunch, but damn we atleast tried to be professional at work. Nowhere in Miami that Iâve been is there much professionalism at work places, workers are seemingly rude/hostile at most places outside of Brickell, most everyone has an attitude, itâs legit the polar opposite of any major city in America. My Cardiologist called me Bro and had a fade haircut đ¤ŁđŤ This city is on some shit man.

La Natural This Little River hotspot is renowned for its sourdough pizzas. The restaurantâs minimalist approach to ingredients allows the quality of each component to shine, making every bite a testament to their culinary dedication⌠What a creative and unique experience. This Bib Gourmand winning restaurant exceeded our expectations. The decor and overall vibe of the place feels like a vacation and the menu definitely caught our attention. But the flavors sealed the deal! Youâll find unique dishes you wouldnât normally see at a pizza joint like papaya with anchovy, Japanese sweet potato with brown butter, and grilled onions with tahini. Then came their famous sourdough pizzas! The texture? PERFECT. Theyâre also known for their delicious all natural wines.

A wood-burning oven puts out thin-crust pizzas using fresh dough and wheat flour (though a gluten-free option is also available). Go to town on the rock shrimp pizza with grilled lemon, buttery Manchego, scallions and ribbons of cilantro or a totally unique creation of roasted eggplant and harissa with a ribbon of sesame seeds along the crust. Time Out tip: The meatballs are a must-order side, along with the polenta fries with spicy ketchup.

Eleventh Street Pizza serves up two kinds of pies that both are stellar representations of their pizza genres. While a monster slice of NYC-style pep does a great job soaking up late-night drinking, the finest things here are thick Sicilian slices, big towers of dough covered with cupped pepperoni, wild maitake mushrooms with caramelized onions and a Provencal number with roasted red onions, confit garlic and pepperoncini. Time Out tip: The Japanese milk bread garlic rolls are both sweet and savory, so much so that youâll probably want a second order for dessert.

Tinta y CafĂŠ You can find everything we love about Coral Gables in Tinta y CafĂŠ, which also has a location in Miami Shores. Itâs quirky, local and deliciously Cuban, with a cozy midcentury vibe thatâs both moody and light-filled. Itâs also pretty laid-back and you can grab a legit Cuban coffee during the lunch rush without having to fight several elderly gentlemen, as well as delicious sandwiches that put a new spin on classics. Note: this is not the place to treat as your satellite office; thereâs no wifi, and laptops are politely declined. This is, however, the perfect place to catch up with an old friend or take a break from the hustle.

Roydâs It was a sad day when Casa Larios closed its Flagler and South Miami doors, but weâre happy to report that the King and Queen of Miami Cuban cuisine are back! Chef Quintin âNeneâ and Maria Teresa Larios have taken over the kitchen at Roydâs, bringing arroz y frijoles to the Redlands.
