Roscoe’s Hollywood
Harlem native Herb Hudson opened this Hollywood staple in 1975, and their tasty soul food has been enjoyed by generations of Angelenos and celebrities including Shaquille O’Neil, Stevie Wonder, and Barack Obama. The menu goes beyond the staple chicken and waffles to include classics like corn bread, mac and cheese, and biscuits and gravy. The Hollywood location is open until 4am on weekend nights, but you’ll find a handful of other Roscoe’s outposts in L.A. that are serving food until midnight.

Enchant LA!
Sometimes pretty places aren’t equally tasty but I would say this place has both down. I got to dress and have some sweet quality time over good korean flavors (kim chi pasta & bulgogi quesadillas were really good!)
🌸Garden Style Brunch&Bar🌸
☕Modern Asian Fusion🥂Wine🍸Cocktail
Kept things light w a citrus shrimp salad but then indulged in other great menu items. We went for lunch but it’s good for dinner dates tooooo 🤓

Chinese in West Hollywood! Modernized Dim Sum fa sho 😋 🥟
Ok, I have one traditional place for dim sum and it is in the SGV, it’s meant to family time and Sunday Breakfast. Soooo, West Hollywood + Dim Sum for dinner never went together in my mind.

Buutttttt, BAO DIM SUM HOUSE reinvented that. And I am here for it bc it’s actually good. Shiu Mai (we got chicken) was very hefty, Har Gow was shrimp filled with a light wrap, sauces on the table were on point and other items like Spare Ribs were prepared very traditionally.

Now, if you live in LA proper, you don’t always have to go to the valley for your dim sum fix 😋 🥟

Celebrate National Hot Dog Month at one of old-school hot dog spots
Pink’s has been a Hollywood legend since 1939. You can choose from popular favorites like the Lord of the Rings Dog topped with BBQ sauce and onion rings or the Martha Stewart Dog topped with sauteed onions, mushrooms, nacho cheese, bacon, but Pink’s Famous Chili Dog with mustard, chili, onions is still an iconic classic for a reason. Plus, it was a favorite spot of Anthony Bourdain. You can’t get a better recommendation!

July is National Hot Dog Month. From cookouts to Independence Day celebrations to National Hot Dog Day on July 17th, we’ve got all the reasons to grab a delicious hot dog this month.

Influenced to try Community Goods while in LA and so glad I did.
Hopefully we’ll see them back in Miami for another pop-up soon 👀

Hands down one of the best iced matcha lattes - added their vanilla syrup + oat milk. The sliders were so pillowy and much lighter than I expected (thankfully) and the sauces!!! Herb Aioli and a sweet and sour hot sauce.

The pistachio toast though, was just the cherry on top! Think Nutella but pistachio no chocolate, fresh nuts and honey on a rustic bread. Chefs kiss ✨

I got there super early on a weekday just after opening to avoid any famed hour long lines and had a lovely #slowmorning on their patio 🍵

Wanna a danish style cube bread from Kyoto?
It’s in Santa Monica now!
Mr. Teddy Baker makes the best katsu sandwiches with milk bread too!

$10 for the cube to take home and have it as you please. The imported butter that’s mixed into all the fluffiness is so unique, sweet, light, airy and crispy/flaky.
It’s great that the katsu sandwich, tenderloin, and they have other options too!

You find it at a to-go style place where you walk up and order, get it as delivery or even eat there with the small dining section they have. So good!

Whether you’re a local resident or a curious traveler, Kikihub is your go-to resource for authentic local recommendations and real opinions. Dive into the trending topics and let us guide you through the best hidden gems Beverly Hills has to offer.

Foodie Favorites: Culinary Secrets

When it comes to food, Beverly Hills has no shortage of upscale dining establishments. However, if you’re seeking authentic local insights, you’ll want to stray off the beaten path. From hidden cafes to quaint diners, the local food scene offers unique culinary experiences you won’t find on most tourist itineraries. For instance, Joan’s on Third is a beloved spot among locals for its scrumptious sandwiches and intimate atmosphere. If you're in the mood for something more exotic, head over to Sotto, a basement eatery that’s a local favorite for Southern Italian cuisine. Craving something sweet? Don't miss the heavenly pastries at Chaumont Bakery. Locals know this place for their fresh daily bakes and French-inspired delicacies.

Shopping Beyond Rodeo Drive

While Rodeo Drive is the epitome of high-end shopping, savvy locals prefer lesser-known boutiques scattered throughout Beverly Hills. Hidden in plain sight, these stores offer exclusive collections that you won’t find anywhere else. An enigmatic shop that often flies under the radar is Heritage Auctions, known for its fascinating array of vintage jewelry and collectibles. Not far off, Farfetch curates a unique selection of designer fashion pieces that resonate with stylish residents. If you’re in the mood for a more customized shopping experience, House of Bijan is praised by locals for its bespoke suits and luxury men's wear.

Explore Tranquil Green Spaces

Amidst the chauffeur-driven cars and designer lawns, Beverly Hills has some surprisingly peaceful green spaces perfect for a leisurely afternoon. Uncover the local favorite, Franklin Canyon Park, a hidden gem known for its scenic hiking trails and secluded picnic spots. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply looking for a quiet retreat, this park offers a slice of serenity rarely found in the bustling city. Another local secret is Beverly Gardens Park. Although it’s more known among the residents, tourists often overlook this tranquil gem. Be sure to check out the whimsical cactus garden and stunning rose garden that locals adore.

Cultural Experiences and Hidden Art

The richness of Beverly Hills extends beyond its luxurious lifestyle; it’s also a hub for hidden cultural gems. When it comes to local insights, residents often rave about the Paley Center for Media. Dedicated to the artistry of television and radio, this museum features rare screenings and insightful panel discussions that attract media buffs. Another hidden cultural spot is the quirky Spadena House, also known as The Witch's House. A quick stroll around this fantastical, storybook-like home offers a blend of architectural whimsy and historical intrigue. For contemporary art lovers, the Marciano Art Foundation presents local avant-garde creations that are both compelling and thought-provoking.

Insight into Nightlife: Beyond the Red Carpet

The nightlife in Beverly Hills is as illustrious as the city itself. While many flock to celebrity-frequented clubs and bars, locals often recommend more low-key venues with a distinctive charm. For a sophisticated vibe and an impressive wine list, check out Wally’s Beverly Hills. This upscale yet intimate wine bar is a locals’ favorite for its cozy ambiance and gourmet small plates. If you're more into craft cocktails, try the speakeasy-style lounge at The Nice Guy, which has made a name for itself with its 1920s decor and ingenious drink concoctions. Lastly, for a quieter evening, locals suggest Dr. Tea’s Apothecary and Salon – a blend of tea house and café where poetry reading nights and live music sessions set a relaxed, bohemian tone.
