At brunch, you can choose from three different cocktails (including a zero-proof option) as your dessert. During dinner, we're going for the chocolate orange cremeux with pistachio, ginger and fennel cookie crust. Brunch Saturday and Sunday, lunch Monday through Friday and dinner daily.

Harry’s Pizzeria Design District James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz slings pizza from Harry's locations in Coconut Grove and South Beach. A wood-burning oven puts out thin-crust pizzas using fresh dough and wheat flour (though a gluten-free option is also available). Go to town on the rock shrimp pizza with grilled lemon, buttery Manchego, scallions and ribbons of cilantro or a totally unique creation of roasted eggplant and harissa with a ribbon of sesame seeds along the crust. Hello, I'm planning on visiting Miami in January for a rest/relaxation-type trip (not a partier; not a drinker). I'll be alone, and I'm a young Asian female (visiting from Canada). I'll be staying in South Beach. Should I be super concerned about safety as a solo female? I won't be out late at night, but I might have a couple of earlier mornings (~6AM) where I have to walk a few minutes to get somewhere. La Natural This Little River hotspot is renowned for its sourdough pizzas. The restaurant’s minimalist approach to ingredients allows the quality of each component to shine, making every bite a testament to their culinary dedication… What a creative and unique experience. This Bib Gourmand winning restaurant exceeded our expectations. The decor and overall vibe of the place feels like a vacation and the menu definitely caught our attention. But the flavors sealed the deal! You’ll find unique dishes you wouldn’t normally see at a pizza joint like papaya with anchovy, Japanese sweet potato with brown butter, and grilled onions with tahini. Then came their famous sourdough pizzas! The texture? PERFECT. They’re also known for their delicious all natural wines.

You planned your workout on a Saturday morning, so you can stop by El Bagel after. The earlier you pass by the gym, the better, for El Bagel. They open at 8 AM and close at 2 PM, however, they often sell out of bagels! You can pre-order for pick-up to avoid waiting in line. You’re either taking the bagels home or if the weather permits, eating them on the outdoor deck (they have seating in the front and also in the back). If you want to keep it simple, go for their salt bagel with scallion cream cheese (vegan option available). Other amazing sandwich orders include the Lox Supreme with locally-smoked lox, English cucumber, dill, pickled onion, tomato, capers, and cream cheese; and the open-face Midday Snack with chives, red onion, and Lox cream cheese. Make sure to add smoked trout roe as an upgrade. Sometimes they have bagel specials, like the Garlique, which sounds divine. El Bagel is also a great spot to pick up before heading to work or for pick up before heading back to bed. They are open 8 AM – 2 PM every day except Tuesday.

Legion Park Farmers’ Market Legion Park is the place to be on a beautiful Saturday morning, as tents pop up from Biscayne Boulevard all the way to Biscayne Bay. Run by Urban Oasis Project, which oversees some of Miami’s most important farmers markets, you’ll find produce from local favorites like Little River Cooperative and French Farms, artisan-made goods like fresh breads, hummus and empanadas (the Chilean ones are excellent), and even dog treats. (Don’t worry, Fido always gets a free sample.) In the morning, a hundred or so yogis gather under the Spanish-oak draped banyan trees for a donation-based yoga class, and then stock up on goods from some of the new age vendors onsite.
