Come for the aesthetic, stay for the dessert☕️ Walking into Sadelle’s Highland Park feels like you’ve stepped into a sea of Tiffany Blue💍 Everything is beautiful! You can tell so much time & effort was put into every single detail ~ the florals, lamps, wallpaper, mosaic tile, beautiful plates, and the long leather menus✨ When it comes to the food, I wanted to wait and only post when I had found my absolute favorites! After many lunch visits, I can confidently say there is one thing you MUST order ~ their sticky bun (warmed up) & a latte for dessert! I will continue to come weekly just for this combo. It has me excited for Fall🍂 Take a peek at what I ordered below to see all my other lunch favorites! #justdallasthings Ordered: Pellegrino & Lime, Crispy Latkes with Lemon Zest Sour Cream, Bloody Mary with Horseradish Vodka, The Triple Decker, Fries, and of course my Latte & Sticky Bun! One of my personal favs! ✨ Sassetta is a beautiful Italian Restaurant is one of my go-to date night spots! The interior is romantic, the service is great, and the food is always delicious! 🙌🏾 This spot opens at 11am, so it’s perfect for a lunch date or an evening in the city! The menu is full of Italian favorites and I’ve yet to try a dish I don’t like here! 🥂 I highly recommend the RIGATONI PASTA & the BOLOGNESE PASTA. Both are amazing! 🍝 I also recommend asking to sit along the windows. It’s a ground level view, and such a nice vibe while eating ☀️ This a great spot for a date night, girl’s night, or to grab a solo drink in the city! 🍸

Discovering the Best Spots in the Design District, Near Dallas
When it comes to once-in-a-lifetime experiences and hidden gems, the Design District near Dallas holds countless local secrets. An area rich in creativity, culture, and innovation, it's a place where you can immerse yourself in authentic experiences away from the mainstream. From art galleries to trendy eateries, there's something here for everyone. To help you uncover the best the Design District has to offer, we've gathered some of the most insightful and anonymous tips from local discussions on Kikihub.
Explore Unmarked Art Galleries
The Design District is famous for its artistic flair. However, beyond the well-known galleries like the Dallas Contemporary or Conduit Gallery, there are several pop-up galleries that only the locals know about. These hidden spots, often unmarked and tucked away in warehouses, offer raw and avant-garde art. Look for discreet signals, like an open door or people gathering in an unusual spot, and step in to explore cutting-edge exhibits that haven't yet hit the mainstream circuit. According to local whispers on Kikihub, these pop-ups often host exclusive events and offer a more intimate look at the city's art scene.
Unwind at Secret Bars
If you're looking to enjoy a drink in a unique setting, the Design District has some of the best-kept secrets in terms of bars and lounges. Disguised behind nondescript facades, these venues offer an escape where you can relax and socialize. One particular favorite, hinted at in local chats, is hidden beneath a plain warehouse exterior but opens up into a swanky, dimly-lit bar with an extensive cocktail menu and live jazz music. Remember to engage in conversations with regulars to discover more about signature drinks and upcoming events.
Dining Hotspots with a Twist
The food scene in the Design District is as eclectic as its artistic community. While many head to the well-reviewed restaurants, insiders know that some of the best dining experiences come from lesser-known eateries. An unassuming food truck parked near a gallery might serve the best street tacos you've ever tasted, while a small bistro, recommended in anonymous discussion forums, could offer a unique fusion menu blending Southern flavors with international cuisine. Checking out these hidden culinary gems is not only a treat for your taste buds but also a way to fully experience the community vibe.
Stay Updated on Trending Local Discussions
One of the benefits of using platforms like Kikihub is staying in the loop with local information and trending discussions. The Design District is constantly evolving, with new businesses popping up and events being organized frequently. By participating in local anonymous chats, you can gain firsthand insights about upcoming art shows, music events, and community festivals. For instance, a recent hot topic includes a not-yet-publicized art exhibition by a renowned Dallas artist that will be opening in an unconventional venue. Engaging in these discussions ensures you're always ahead of the curve and never miss out on exciting local happenings.
Unique Shopping Experiences
The Design District isn't just about art and dining. It's also a haven for unique shopping experiences. Forget the mainstream malls; here, you'll find boutique stores offering everything from custom furniture to vintage clothing and handmade jewelry. Local insiders on Kikihub frequently mention exclusive sample sales and pop-up markets that aren't widely advertised but offer one-of-a-kind finds at great prices. If you're keen on discovering unique pieces that reflect the local culture and style, this is the place to be.
