Do Not Sit On The Furniture! Designed more for dancing than sitting (hence the name), it’s packed tight and kept very dark, except for those moments when the gorgeous light fixture flashes and illuminates everything around you. Helmed by internationally renowned DJ-producer Behrouz and his partner Megan, Do Not Sit has earned a reputation for offering top-tier guest acts and underground sensibilities in a less pretentious setting and with a more accessible cover.

Hyde Beach Hollywood style found its way to South Beach in June 2012 when the SLS Hotel opened at the corner of Collins and 17th, and brought the ultra-exclusive Hyde nightclub with it. The daytime pool party is always a riot. We’re talking CO2 cannons, go-go dancers, fist-pumping out-of-towners and cocktails the size of football players. From Thursday to Sunday, the action continues well past sunset, when scenesters hunker down within the whimsical, Philippe Starck-designed club for A-list acts like Guy Gerber, Claptone and Kaskade.

The Oldest House In Miami The Barnacle, a real historical jewel in the heart of Coconut Grove, is one of the oldest buildings in Miami-Dade County standing in its original location! Today, the Barnacle Historic State Park is a popular spot for both history enthusiasts and those looking for a beautiful view. It is open to the public, offering a unique experience to go back in time to the history of Coconut Grove and all of South Florida. Aside from guided tours, there are concerts, yoga classes, movie screenings, picnic dates and more events to choose from at the site. Or you can simply lay back on the lawn and enjoy the same view as Munroe did with his family back in the early 1900s. The Barnacle Society Inc., a nonprofit volunteer organization, works all year to set up fun programming and preserve the historic state park.

White Rose “Specialty coffee, tattoo lobby, working lounge & lifestyle café.” There’s one thing for sure about White Rose: You won’t find another coffee shop like it. The space is also home to Ocho Placas Tattoo Company, The Betancourt Gallery and Palm Film Lab, so you’ll see plenty of creative types weaving in and out at any hour of the day. The coffee shop is a hotbed for local brands: you could grab pair a gold milk latte with a box of Milly’s Empanadas or your Espresso Fino pour over with cookies from local bakers. They do some serious coffee art here too, although the sweet tooths out there should order the cafe bombon, a double shot with condensed milk.

Knaus Berry Farm has earned quite a reputation for its sweet cinnamon buns, so much so that fans usually line up for hours to get their hands on some. And yes, waiting in that line is an essential thing to do. Cinnamon rolls aren’t the farm’s only draw — they also serve delicious milkshakes and you can also pick your own strawberries to take home. Legion Park Farmers’ Market Legion Park is the place to be on a beautiful Saturday morning, as tents pop up from Biscayne Boulevard all the way to Biscayne Bay. Run by Urban Oasis Project, which oversees some of Miami’s most important farmers markets, you’ll find produce from local favorites like Little River Cooperative and French Farms, artisan-made goods like fresh breads, hummus and empanadas (the Chilean ones are excellent), and even dog treats. (Don’t worry, Fido always gets a free sample.) In the morning, a hundred or so yogis gather under the Spanish-oak draped banyan trees for a donation-based yoga class, and then stock up on goods from some of the new age vendors onsite. When to go: Saturdays 9am–2pm, year-round

Coconut Grove Farmers’ Market The Coconut Grove Farmers Market is probably Miami’s most well-known. Every Saturday, Homestead's Glaser Organic Farms transforms an unoccupied corner of Coconut Grove into a full-fledged produce market with dozens of fruit and vegetable stands, a raw bar featuring prepared foods and salads and coolers filled with cold-pressed juices and nut mylks. There’s even velvety vegan ice cream for sale and several rows of picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy your bounty. Along its periphery, you’ll find other local vendors selling honey, homemade soaps, handmade jewelry and other artisanal items. And the setup and breakdown are so fascinating to watch! Much like the circus leaving town, everyone quickly dismantles their tents and packs up just after sunset, leaving no trace of the bustling day on the empty gravel lot. 3300 Grand Ave, on the corner of Margaret St and Grand Ave. When to go: Saturdays 10am–7pm, year-round

JAGUAR SUN Downtown Jaguar Sun is probably our favorite place in Miami. Some may say it’s a cocktail bar, others, a restaurant with an awesome pasta selection. We’d like to think of it as a combination of both. And there’s something about the vibe that makes you want to chat with the person next to you. Our favorite dishes include the Hokkaido Scallop, the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with the most delish charred leek aioli, Agnolotti with blue crab, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Make sure to ask if there are any new dishes or off-menu items, sometimes they’ll have something to share with you. Leave room for a Wolf Whistle, their version of a tequila espresso martini paired with dessert.

Strange Beast is one of Miami’s best late-night karaoke spots can be found deep in West Kendall. You can get a pint of beer, a pizza and a side of sing-along tunes. Every Thursday, people wind up dancing at this brew pub and pizzeria—and, as the team there says, “All it takes is one Bad Bunny or Marc Anthony song and it’s overrrr!” Best of all, there are usually four mics on deck, so no one has to share when your inner Posh Spice comes out.
