Do Not Sit On The Furniture! Designed more for dancing than sitting (hence the name), it’s packed tight and kept very dark, except for those moments when the gorgeous light fixture flashes and illuminates everything around you. Helmed by internationally renowned DJ-producer Behrouz and his partner Megan, Do Not Sit has earned a reputation for offering top-tier guest acts and underground sensibilities in a less pretentious setting and with a more accessible cover.

Hyde Beach Hollywood style found its way to South Beach in June 2012 when the SLS Hotel opened at the corner of Collins and 17th, and brought the ultra-exclusive Hyde nightclub with it. The daytime pool party is always a riot. We’re talking CO2 cannons, go-go dancers, fist-pumping out-of-towners and cocktails the size of football players. From Thursday to Sunday, the action continues well past sunset, when scenesters hunker down within the whimsical, Philippe Starck-designed club for A-list acts like Guy Gerber, Claptone and Kaskade.

What better way to do that than exploring the many fun and festive things going on in Miami this year? Spend a luminous night at NightGarden! One of the many spectacular light shows you’ll find around Miami this time of year is Fairchild’s NightGarden. This unmissable celebration of light takes over the 23-acre botanic gardens annually, transforming it into an enchanting wonderland filled with technicolor flowers, rainbow-colored pathways, motion sensing technology and outdoor holograms.

Pastis Miami is all the French we need in Wynood. Tucked away in its own little outdoor paradise they offer a range of classic french dishes with my favorite being the Pâté de Campagne. Never settle for anything less than an evening of great company, profiteroles and martinis, ma chère. 🍸

Today, the Barnacle Historic State Park is a popular spot for both history enthusiasts and those looking for a beautiful view. It is open to the public, offering a unique experience to go back in time to the history of Coconut Grove and all of South Florida. Aside from guided tours, there are concerts, yoga classes, movie screenings, picnic dates and more events to choose from at the site. The Pool Hall, Overtown Founded in 1954, this billiards club has been restored to its former glory, paying homage to the community’s golden age of entertainment with a modern twist. To find it, all you have to do is enter Red Rooster and head up the staircase covered in pictures of the famous and everyday people of Overtown in the ’60s and ’70s. MIAMI’S BEST RESTAURANT WITH “AMBIENTE” Where the vibe is more important but the food is still good The iconic NYC staple, Pastis, expanded its presence from the Meatpacking District to the vibrant neighborhood of Wynwood. The restaurant stays true to its New York roots, offering the same menu filled with classic Parisian bistro-style dishes and an incredible ambiance that won’t make you feel like you’re in Miami. You’re heading here for a chic lunch or dinner and sitting at their gorgeous outdoor patio decorated with ceiling fans, red patio umbrellas, and twinkly lights. We’d start with some drinks (of course), if you’re a spritz person looking to relax, start your meal with their St. Tropez Spritz made with St. Germain, lemon, aperitif, sparkling wine, and strawberries. But if you’ve had a long day (or week) then kick off your meal with a tiny Le Petit Pickle martini. As for the food, we like to start with a few hors d’oeuvres for the table. We usually go for the Tuna Carpaccio with lemon vinaigrette, Escargots with garlic-parsley butter, Onion Soup, and Crispy Artichokes with garlic aioli. Moving on to the entrées we love their Chicken Paillard with almonds and picholine olives, and we always love to get an order of the Moules Frites with white wine and garlic for the table (don’t forget to dip the bread in the sauce). If you still have a little room, the grand finale is the airy Profiteroles, delicately filled with velvety smooth vanilla ice cream, and generously drizzled with warm chocolate sauce.

Strange Beast is one of Miami’s best late-night karaoke spots can be found deep in West Kendall. You can get a pint of beer, a pizza and a side of sing-along tunes. Every Thursday, people wind up dancing at this brew pub and pizzeria—and, as the team there says, “All it takes is one Bad Bunny or Marc Anthony song and it’s overrrr!” Best of all, there are usually four mics on deck, so no one has to share when your inner Posh Spice comes out.
